Why is the Phone Booth so different compared to other iPhone cycling computer holsters?

As experienced cyclists we know that "stuff happens" out on the road: unexpected rain, a bike crash, rough roads, sweat dripping on to your bike computer, even a water sprinkler that gives you a thorough soaking.

We also know how important your iPhone/iPod Touch is to your daily life.

The exclusive Phone Booth is designed with your love of cycling AND your iPhone/iPod Touch fully in mind.

The Phone Booth is lightweight, rugged, water-resistant, simple to use, easy to get on-and-off the bike and fastens securely to your bike. It accommodates either an iPhone or iPod Touch, and includes a slot where the iBike ® rechargeable spare battery is installed.

To secure the Phone Booth solidly to your bike we use an exclusive, black-anodized aluminum bracket. Permanently attached to the bracket is a stainless steel fastening bolt that screws into a metal nut welded into the base of the Phone Booth.

To make sure your iPhone/iPod Touch is protected against shock, the Phone Booth case is made from tough and durable ABS plastic, and designed with strengthening ribs located inside the case.

To make sure your iPhone is protected against moisture there is a watertight gasket that seals the door where it joins the main body of the Phone Booth. A clamp holds the door securely to the main body. Also, a glare-reducing touch screen cover keeps water and moisture from touching the surface of your iPhone screen.

That's a long list of important features and care of design we don't think you will find on any other iPhone bike computer holster.

Why is it important that the Phone Booth completely encloses the iPhone/iPod Touch?

As cyclists, we know that the unexpected happens all the time. A fully-enclosing case is the best way to protect against the unexpected.

Are there any special precautions you recommend so that I won't accidentally damage my Phone Booth or iPhone/iPod Touch?

There are four simple, common-sense things to do provide your iPhone/iPod Touch maximum protection:

1) Fasten the Phone Booth to your steer-tube bracket using the thumb screw.

2) Close the front door of the Phone Booth and fully engage the latch

3) NEVER open the Phone Booth door during rain storms, or when your Phone Booth is wet.

4) Before opening the Phone Booth door make sure the Phone Booth is dry.

These simple precautions will provide maximum protection of your Phone Booth and your iPhone/iPod Touch.
